Cinnamon Latte

The last few days have been utter chaos.

Between planning Christmas parties/get-togethers and the gigantic ice storm that hit, I’ve been quite busy lately.

Since we have been hit with such horribly cold weather, I’ve been in latte mode.

Which resulted in these delicious drinks. 🙂

Cinnamon Latte

Adapted from Food.com

  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • pinch of nutmeg

In a large saucepan, add the milk, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon stick on high heat. I added a bit of ground cinnamon as well, but you can omit this.

When the milk comes to a boil, remove from heat and froth with a frother. You can omit frothing your milk if you wish and it will still taste great!

Divide the coffee between 2 to 3 mugs (depending on the size of the mug).

Divide the milk between the mugs and sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon.

Enjoy!

This recipe makes 3 servings in medium sized mugs. If you use bigger mugs, it will most likely only make 2 servings.
